More on Dog House.

Don’t be scared off by the Dog House’s intimidating location—right behind the Atlantis strip club and across the street from the looming Baltimore City Detention Center. The Dog House is famous for its monster hot dogs—three, three, three different kinds! Regular, Polish, kosher!—which it serves up grilled, not boiled, dripping with kraut or meat sauce ($2.55 each). And in addition to those tasty dogs, the Dog House also serves up traditional diner fare: grilled cheese sandwiches ($2.35), BLTs ($2.95), quarter-pound cheeseburgers ($2.95), and our favorite not-dog delight, breakfast sandwiches. We find that the bacon, egg, and cheese served up on a chewy bagel ($3.10) with a little cup of sugary-sweet, milky coffee (95 cents) is a fine way to prepare for the long day ahead. Especially if that day includes doing time at the jail, or at the Atlantis.
