The funny British trio that made zombie rom-com Shaun of the Dead, director/writer Edgar Wright, writer/actor Simon Pegg, and actor Nick Frost, shoot the crap outta everything in this action/buddy cop comedy filled with stop-action filming and pub scenes. Nicholas Angel (Pegg), 400 times better than the rest of the London bobbies, gets demoted to a model village in the countryside where he teams up with the witless son of the inspector (Jim Broadbent), Danny Butterman (Frost). Butterman is dying for some Bad Boys II action while Angel busts the underage drinkers at the pub until village members fall victim to accidents that just can't be explained away. This shit just got real.
