Director Brad Bird's animated 1999 sci-fi adventure is nothing special in the digital-animation department but a worthy threat to Disney nevertheless. This sweet tale of a kid in 1957 Maine befriending a giant amnesiac iron man (voiced by Vin Diesel) has great fun lampooning the hysteria of the atomic age.
