Why they didn't call this Redneck Comedy Tour: The Movie is sort of a mystery, since the pièce de résistance of this mildly amusing live-on-film comedy concert is Jeff Foxworthy's famous "You might be a redneck if . . ." routine, which Foxworthy recites with the resignation of a man who realizes he has reached the pinnacle of his career and is now doomed to repeat it, so he might as well do a comedy tour and movie that's a little like the "Original Kings of Comedy" tour movie (without the cursing) and milk it for all it's worth. David Alan Grier (In Living Color, Life With Bonnie) stops in to dress the comedians in large colorful suits to acknowledge this, so it's all good. Also featuring a few not-so-spontaneous connective segments involving the other members of the comedy tour: Bill Engvall, Ron White, and 98 Rock radio-bit regular Larry the Cable Guy.
