Friday After Next

By Joe MacLeod | Posted

The third installment of D.J. Pooh and Ice Cube's popular Friday films. Santa Claus, or somebody dressed like him (Rickey Smiley), goes straight to the ghetto and robs all the Christmas presents and the rent money out of Craig (Ice Cube) and dumb-ass Day-Day's (Mike Epps) bachelor crib. The cousins are forced to get jobs as rent-a-cops at the strip mall where their ignorant, profane dads (John Witherspoon and Don "D.C." Curry) run a barbecue restaurant. Comedic modern-day Three Stooges-style situations ensue: fat-ass joints are smoked, a coupla people get "knocked the fuck out," Craig takes his best shot at the cute chick (K.D. Aubert) who works for the strip mall's pimp, and Deebo, the scary neighborhood psycho played by Tom "Tiny" Lister Jr., has been replaced by Terry Crews as Damon, an out homosexual ex-con who really, really, really likes Tupac Shakur videos. Merry Christmas, bitch.
