Leonard and Donna, the homeless couple who have been living under a Baltimore overpass since last November (“Moving on Down,” April 12), packed up their belongings and boarded a bus back to their native New Hampshire June 16. They left their jobs handing out Examiner newspapers at a downtown intersection and say they hope to find other employment in New Hampshire, either in newspaper distribution or in the restaurant industry. Until they do, and until they find housing, Leonard says they plan to stay at a motel near their hometown. Donna, who says she’s pregnant and due in August, promises to get back in touch when the baby arrives.
