Best Blueberry Beer

The Dog Pub

20 E. Cross St., (410) 727-6077,

Posted 9/17/2008

Tucked amid the hubbub and congestion of Cross Street is the cozy Dog Pub. Although it has an extensive selection of premium house draft beer, it is the Blueberry Dog that has rightfully earned the spotlight this year. Unlike some craft beers that can leave a bitter aftertaste, the Blueberry Dog is light and smooth, and the blueberry flavor is unmistakable without overpowering the beer itself. However, if blueberry doesn't appeal to your palate, there is the Peach Dog and Raspberry Dog as well as more traditional brews like the Blonde Dog and Black Dog. The Dog Pub even offers a selection of "Mixed Breeds" that is just what it sounds like. And with a daily special of two beers for $4, how can you go wrong?
