No Parking</p>

There are few things that get our blood boiling like someone else's car blocking the street, up on the sidewalk, parked without a permit, or one of a host of other infractions. Here, via three years' worth of parking complaints to the city's 311 operators (more than 36,000 calls, by the way), are the top 15 blocks where somebody's going to dime you out for improper parking etiquette.

500 BLOCK OF S MONTFORD AVE., 360 Calls
1800 BLOCK OF GOUGH ST., 240 Calls
2000 BLOCK OF GOUGH ST., 234 Calls
2500 BLOCK OF FLEET ST., 229 Calls
2100 BLOCK OF BANK ST., 199 Calls
2400 BLOCK OF FLEET ST., 191 Calls
3400 BLOCK OF GREENWAY, 189 Calls
2000 BLOCK OF E PRATT ST., 164 Calls
2200 BLOCK OF EASTERN AVE., 142 Calls
400 BLOCK OF S WASHINGTON ST., 135 Calls
700 BLOCK OF S MONTFORD AVE., 134 Calls
100 BLOCK OF W OSTEND ST., 132 Calls

A Sampling of the Complaints Received by 311:

8/1/2008, 5100 block of Linden Heights Ave., there is a bus at the location that people are sleeping inside the bus is used for carnivals. - SCHOOL BUS - N/A - YELLOW BUS.

1/10/2006, 700 block of South President St., Handicap - UNKNOWN - ROLLS ROYCE - Parked on second Floor in a Handicap-marked spot. - BLACK - ABOUT AN HOUR BUT THEY ARE A REPEAT OFFENDER AND PARK THERE DAILY.

Disclaimer: What's the 311? is based on data from the Mayor's Office of Information Technology (currently from Sept. 20, 2005, until Sept. 30, 2008). It has been folded, spindled, and mutilated along the way, and no attempt has been made to verify the accuracy of the calls. Not everyone loves the carnival.
