Monday, June 21

2:31 a.m. Durel Cartwright, a 30-year-old African-American man, was found lying on the sidewalk in the 400 block of North East Avenue in East Baltimore. He had been shot repeatedly and died at a local hospital at 3:08 a.m.

6:06 p.m. Wesley Lashley, a 29-year-old African-American man, was pronounced brain dead at an area hospital. Lashley was shot in the head, torso, and legs in the 3100 block of Woodland Avenue near Pimlico Race Course on June 19. He was removed from life support on June 23.

10:31 p.m. Antwan Pullen, a 23-year-old African-American man, was shot in the head in the 2000 block of North Wolfe Street as he was running onto the porch of a neighbor's rowhouse near Clifton Park. He lived just a few doors down. Pullen died at a local hospital two days later. With Pullen and Lashley's deaths, the total number of people murdered during a spate of violence June 19-21 has risen to five.

Wednesday, June 23

11:58 p.m. Tyree Page, a 33-year-old African-American man, was driving a BMW convertible in the 500 block of McMechen Street near Pennsylvania Avenue. A 25-year-old African-American man was also in the car. Someone came up to the car and opened fire on them. Page was shot in the head and later pronounced dead at the hospital. The unidentified 25-year-old was shot in the shoulder and managed to get himself to a hospital; his wound was not life threatening.

Saturday, June 26

3:32 a.m. An officer on patrol a few blocks from Patterson Park heard gunshots. Evando Minor, a 23-year-old African-American man, was discovered in an alley off the 3300 block of Noble Street. He had been shot in the chest. A gun was found near Minor; police believe it was his. Minor died at a nearby hospital at 4:07 a.m.

11:42 a.m. Police were called to the scene of a suspicious death in the 5200 block of St. Charles Avenue in Northwest Baltimore. Gloria Harrod, a 47-year-old African-American woman, was found dead lying in bed in her second-floor bedroom. Her death was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma.

Update: The man shot to death in the 2500 block of Winchester Street has been identified as Daniel Payne, a 55-year-old African-American man.
