A Guide to the Privileges that Come with Membership to Local Cultural Institutions

If there is someone on your gift list who has enough stuff, give them some culture instead. It won’t take up any room in their houses, and the sense of superiority that comes with membership at a cultural institution will keep them warm all winter long. The costs and privileges are for basic individual memberships. You can always give more money and get family memberships or just more stuff.

American Visionary Art Museum
