You've got two choices at the Rainforest Café (Towson Town Center, Towson, [410] 321-0300): Go with an attitude and be just as annoyed as you expected to be by the crass commercialism and cutesy menu copy, or tap into the little kid inside who can still be enchanted by Disney World. Slide into the latter pose and it's kinda fun. Sure, your conversation will compete with bellowing apes, roaring leopards. and ear-flapping elephants (are they neat, or what?), but a surprising number of the offerings are good enough to keep your mouth occupied, and the real live parrots are beautiful to behold. So what if they've never seen a rain forest in their feathery lives?
