Martinak State Park, Denton, (410) 820-1668, free admission. Martinak's 107 acres of fields and forest are home to foxes, opossums, raccoons, squirrels, white-tailed deer, ducks, and owls. Visit them by taking a hike through the woods or by boating on the Choptank River and Watts Creek. A pavilion is available for resting afterward, and if you're really tired, you can stay overnight in a rented cabin.
