Today, tours offer glimpses at original furnishings. Go for the Ice Cream Social on July 15 or the Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival on Aug. 4.

You spend the day in the pool,and the evening on the deck, gazing at the stars. Then you sleep. And then you go home. That's the bad part.

Baugher's Orchard, 1236 Baugher Road, Westminster, (410) 848-5541, www.baughers.com. They grow it, you pick it. The season starts with strawberries, then moves to sour and sweet cherries, sweet peas, peaches, plums, sweet corn, tomatoes, and black raspberries. Yum.
