Salisbury Zoological Park, City Park, Salisbury, (410) 548-3188, free. Don't let the fancy name intimidate you. This nice little zoo on the banks of the Wicomico River is home to more than 350 New World animals and a large waterfowl contingent. Be sure to visit the cotton-top tamarins 'cause they look like lonely gremlins.

Wedding Chapel on the Shore, 105 W. Main St., Salisbury, (410) 860-5945. On the way home from the beach, you and your honey can make a stop at this "elegant alternative to the courthouse" and take home a souvenir that's truly memorable.

Aesop's Table, 124 N. Division St., Salisbury, (410) 546-4471. Rather than tell fables, this Aesop sells tables, and other antique Oriental furniture plus reproductions (no one will know the difference) and accessories.
