There are a handful of restaurants which understand that the key to a good date is to not give your partner any chance of escaping you. The drive from the restaurant to the bar for drinks is your most vulnerable moment. Let's face it, you were probably a little stiff and boring over dinner, so your only shot is to see if “drunk you” is any more entertaining to this poor person you've taken out for the evening. Therefore, it's crucially important to get them into a bar so they can experience the wit and sophistication that is “drunk you.” Your best bet is to take them to a restaurant that has a bar attached next door. Not pubs where people are innocently eating bar food and drinking a couple of beers, these are nice restaurants that have absolute drunk tanks not five steps away. It's dinner to debauchery without even having to put your coat back on.
